Experimental Enamelling
Experimenting with Decals, Riso Screens and Enamelling.
A new workshop learning how to prepare a copper blank using opaque and transparent enamels, ready to use decals and Riso screens.
A really exciting combination of decorative media.
Riso screens are made by transferring an image onto a thin stencil. Enamel powder is then pushed through the screen onto a prepared enamel blank using a spreader.
Decals are waterslide transfers that can be fired onto a prepared layer of enamel.
Both of these processes can produce some really exciting and playful images which can be used to create a small wall hanging or decorate a small dish.
This workshop is suitable for both beginners and improvers.
Tutor will provide all materials for this workshop. This cost is included in your fee.
