Make A Wire Creature

Come and make a creature from chicken wire, anything from a chicken to a creature from your imagination. On previous courses what began as a hen finished the day as a dachshund!

If you would like to make a particular animal please bring along a photograph.

This course will require a certain degree of manual dexterity and hand strength as the wire netting will need cutting and manipulating.

Tutor will supply most materials for this workshop. This cost is included in your fee.

If you have them, please bring wire cutters and gardening gloves.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and improvers.

A light lunch will be provided.

Reversible Canvas Work

Reversible canvas work is based on double running. Produce a variety of stitches ranging from Florentine to multiple cross stitches. It can be used to make a wide range of items from key rings to handbags. The beauty of reversible stitch is that you do not need to line your work. You will make a small sampler that could be used  to create a small purse or used as inspiration to plan a larger, more considered piece of work.

Tutor will supply most materials for this workshop. This cost is included in your fee.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and improvers.
