An introduction to the traditional craft of paper marbling. A fabulous new workshop taught in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere. After an overview of the process (preparing the marbling bath, aluming the papers and mixing the paints), you will begin your own marbling journey. Learn how to create a range of traditional and modern marbling patterns on A4 size paper using both tools and freestyle.

This workshop is designed as a follow on to Rachel's 'Introduction to Paper Marbling'. This session will allow those students to practise the skills learnt at the previous workshop, problem solve and also act as a refresher. Students will also learn some new patterns and to marble with coloured papers. Marbled papers that are created in both workshops may be used for cardmaking, book-making or to frame as an artwork.

The Art of Slow Writing. Calligraphy, the art of beautiful writing, is a rewarding skill and admired by many. Course 2617: Learn how to write a full alphabet using broad edged pens, ink and paint. Produce an attractive calligraphic, completed project. Materials not included.
